Ich hab gerade die Aufgabenstellungen für die nächsten beiden Hausarbeiten meines Fernstudiums angefordert. Einmal "Energie Teil 2" und "Klimawandel". In die Energie 2 Studienmaterialien hab ich noch keinen Blick geworfen, weil mich Energie 1 so schafft. Aber die Fragen zu Teil 2 scheinen nicht ganz so schwer, bzw. nicht mit so viel mathematische / physikalischem Grundwissen verbunden zu sein.

Bei der Klima Arbeit kann ich einen Teil meiner Umweltrechts Aufgabe recyclen *g* Und dann gibts noch eine schöne Frage zu kommunalen Klimaschutz - Maßnahmen; welche gibt es in meiner Stadt, welche gibt es nicht, woran liegt es, dass es die noch nicht gibt? Ich grinse still vor mich hin und muss beim Beantworten dann wohl aufpassen, nicht zu sehr auf die große Koalition im Stadtrat einzudreschen, denn der Mangel an kommunalem Klimaschutz ist schon seit langem unser grünes Thema...

Auf jeden Fall juckt es mir in den Fingern, direkt mit dem Schreiben der Arbeit anzufangen, aber ich sollte wirklich erst mal die Energie 1 zu Ende bringen. Aber auf die Klima-Arbeit freue ich mich jetzt schon. Wow, dass ich das noch erleben darf, dass ich selbst mal so motiviert bin zu meinem Studium :-)

Just a short concert review: I really really had a great time. Although it was a little bit strange to be actually sitting throughout the whole concert. That might be due to the rather non-rocking music of James Blunt, but still strange. Everyone around me stayed seated, so I didn't jump up to cheer after a song either. Most of the audience only got up at the final song "1973" which is the most uptempo of his songs. He only played for a little over 90 minutes, which was a bit disappointing, but he only has released two albums yet and his songs are rather short ones, so... it was ok.

A little damper was the continued talking in the audience (at least around me) and the "Beer! Icecream!..." calls from the guys walking around selling this stuff. All during the slow and quit songs, which James sung only accompanied by his accoustic guitar. It sometimes almost wrecked the moment and I wished I would have gotten a ticket for the standing room down in front of the stage.

It was a great concert nonetheless, because unlike some other artist, James Blunt really can sing. The sound (of him and the band) was excellent and he sung so steady and clear and never missed a tune or anything. It was impressive. He didn't talk that much during the songs, but when he did he was rather entertaining.

"They say I've got the No 1 song played at weedings - You're beautiful. And I've also got the No 1 song played at funerals. So, I've covered the basics. But now I've also got a song fit for divorce. So I've covered it all." was the introduction to "I'll take everything"

"No bravery" was introduced with "The next song will make this song [Goodbye my lover, which was played before] look like a happy place." And he told about when he wrote it and what it's about and while he performed there was footage of Kosovo shown on the screen behind the stage. And James was singing it with all his heart. It was more powerful than the album version, because he was much more angry singing it on stage.

All in all: a too short, but nonetheless great concert.

My conclusion: I need a box in which I can put all my negativity at the end of the day :-) Seriously... I might use the easter holidays to rethink my attitude to some things. At least try to rethink it. And try to find a find a way to "be in the moment" more times than I usually are.

I'll start by not bitching about what annoyed me today. And I really should start looking for a "negativitiy box"...
