Notes 30
abgelegt unter: NotizenI almost made it through my chocolate-free Lent. It wasn't as difficult as it has been in earlier years. Maybe that's why I didn't wrote about it as much as in earlier years. I slipped once or twice and not only on Sundays. I slipped big time on Wednesday, when I stayed at Vapiano before the James Blunt concert. It was nasty weather outside and I had no other place to go until the crowd was allowed to enter the arena. Ok, I could have had some non-chocolate dessert :-) was punished for it right away though, because the chocolate cake was too chocolate-y even for my taste and together with the hot choclate I felt totally stuffed for a while afterwards. Serves me right...
I've already stocked my chocolate supplies and have to remember to get some milk from my Mom tomorrow (because I'm out of milk and can't go groceries shopping tomorrow) so that I can have my chocolate muesli for breakfast on Sunday. And as I'm out of milk I can't drink some (instant) coffee at home to get warm, so I have to resort to my chocolate cappuccino.
++++
And after spending the afternoon watching last night's hockey game again, I'll now be spending the rest of the evening working on my Energy Basics Paper. I'm finally back to understand at least some of it, after I didn't work on it for weeks and forgot what it all was about. I shouldn't have taken that class in the first place.
++++
Talking about hockey. Watching a hockey game and stay on a "positive diet" is impossible. To me at least :-) But other than that I've got the impression that I've managed to cut back on the negativity to some degree. Little degree, but still...
++++
I was honestly tempted to cheat on my tax income report. Not to really lie, but to not correct some information, which was sent to the tax office. That's still lying, right? Anyway somebody else took that decision out of my hands. It might be for the best. And I don't have to worry about how and if I could live with the tiny little bit of guilt and bad conscience I might have had. Sometimes being a law-abiding citizien feels weird.
